Innovativeness creates good reputation

Automation specialist awarded the distinction “Highest Reputation” in the Germany test by the economic magazine Focus-Money.

“Highest Reputation“ – this was the accolade bestowed on automation specialist Balluff by Focus-Money in a Germany-wide study in the category “Electronic component production”. In this category Balluff received the highest possible rating of 100 points, making it the top competitor. “High product quality alone is not sufficient today in the industrial B2B arena to be successful as a company. Customers are also influenced in their purchasing decision by sustainable management, financial stability and innovative products and services,” explains Managing Director Katrin Stegmaier-Hermle. “This is why we are exceedingly grateful for this recognition.”

The Focus-Money study is based on 5000 brands from 144 sectors. In total the study collected 22.5 million customer votes from the digital media over the period from March 2017 to February 2018. The reputation was evaluated according to various factors for the areas of sustainability, management, role as an employer, economic performance and products and services.

Innovator of the Year

“Consistent customer orientation and continual improvement of our own products drive the employees at Balluff to find innovative solutions,” explains Michael Weinfurter, Personnel Manager at Balluff. The business journal brand eins named Balluff as 2018 “Innovator of the Year” and placed them on the best-of list of the 27 most innovative companies in Germany in the category Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Automation & Measurement Technology. Underlying the jury’s decision was a thorough investigation by brand eins of knowledge and statistics among 496 companies from various sectors and of different sizes. “Receiving an award as ‘Innovator of the Year’ is a huge confirmation especially in the fast-changing Industry 4.0 field and underscores our claim of being pacesetter for industrial automation,” affirms Weinfurter.

Outstanding employer

Balluff also impresses as an employer. Focus Business in conjunction with the business network XING and the employer review site kununu named Balluff “Best Employer of 2018”. Kununu also recognized the automation specialist as “top company” and “open company”.
