The Picomag pocket-sized smart plug-and-play flowmeter from Endress+Hauser not only measures the flow of electrically conductive fluids, but also their process temperature.
In addition, the unit is said to offer easy commissioning with Bluetooth using its SmartBlue App, as well as seam-less system integration thanks to IO-Link technology, making the device ready for Industry 4.0.
The flowmeter can be installed into pipes up to 50 mm in diameter, even in confined spaces, making it suitable for utility applications.
For this purpose, there are various process connection adapters available, such as NPT-thread, R-thread, internal thread, Tri-Clamp or Victaulic.
Repeatability is ±0.2% o.f.s. and water flow measurements go up to 750 l/min.
The meter is suitable for process temperatures between –10° to 70°C, as well as for process pressures up to 16 bar. The housing made of stainless steel (IP65/67) is available for the line sizes: DN 15 (1/2 in.), DN 20 (3/4 in.), DN 25 (1 in.) and DN 50 (2 in.).
